Bruce & Brian Co., Ltd. signed Distributor Agreement with Neurotechnologija, Ltd., a worldwide leading provider of software identification technology, which allows solely to cover South Korea with all the Neurotechnologija, Ltd.'s software identification products.
Neurotechnologija Ltd. was founded in 1990 in Vilnius, Lithuania. Main area of company activity is developing of biometrical person identification algorithms and software. In 1991 first fingerprint identification system was developed. Since that time Neurotechnologija, Ltd. released more than 20 products and version upgrades for biometrics and law enforcement.
In 2001 our fingerprint identification algorithm has been tested in Fingerprint Verification Competition and shown one of the best results there. This year, FVC 2004, the Fingerprint Verification Competition, confirmed that Neurotechnologija, Ltd. is the World Leader in Fingerprint Biometric Technology. Neurotechnologija, Ltd. achieved impressive results for the second time in the Fingerprint Verification Competition (FVC).
The main products are devoted not for end users, but for security companies who like to integrate fingerprint identification technology into their own products. Currently more than 300 security system integrators (including number of basic fingerprint sensors providers) in more than 50 countries use our products.
This technology is useful and effective in many security applications as person identification, access control, computer security, banking, time attendance control, law enforcement applications, etc. As matching algorithm is very fast, it can be used not only in person verification, but also in identification purpose, for unknown person determination.
Neurotechnologija, Ltd. main customers are biometric sector companies, who license its technology and integrate it into own security products.
